How to care for your dried floral arrangements
Your new dried floral arrangement, wreath, or swag was designed to be especially full to accommodate any natural shedding that may occur during shipping, removal, and handling. Keep in mind that colors will naturally soften over time. Still, they can be better maintained when displayed indoors, out of direct sunlight, in low humidity, and away from heat sources.
To clean your arrangement, use a blow dryer on a low or no-heat setting, keeping it at least 12 inches away from the design.
For storage, return the wreath to its original box, cover it with tissue paper, and include a few moth or cedar balls to protect against moth infestation. During periods of high humidity, avoid storing dried flowers in a closed box on the basement floor. Instead, try to elevate your storage area as much as possible and keep the box open whenever the relative humidity is above 60%. Be sure to place a few mothballs inside the carton to deter moths, as they are particularly attracted to dried floral arrangements.
With proper care, your dried floral arrangement can last for years!
